ONLINE WORKSHOP — Dreams as Source: Using Dreams to Spark Creative Writing REGISTER NOW

Do your dreams play over and over in your mind? Do you think about what they might mean? Perhaps writing can help you explore your dreams.

Dreams can be intense and confrontational, scary, quirky, funny, or loving. They ask us to look into dark corners, where both love and terror can hide. This is the gritty material that makes great art. Using creative writing in the genre of your choice (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, etc.), this workshop will provide methods to mine those unique veins of feeling and experience and access the fertile ground that our dreams hold for self-discovery. Through email correspondence, participants will have the opportunity to discuss one or up to four recent or childhood dreams one-on-one with the instructor. Participants will submit writing each week and receive useful feedback and direction. Note: this workshop will not include much sharing among participants as dreams are often very private experiences.
