Mariah Steele, named a “rising talent” in the arts by The Boston Globe in 2013, is the Choreographer and Artistic Director of Quicksilver Dance, a modern dance company based in Boston and San Francisco. She studied Bharatanatyam in Sri Lanka as part of her anthropology thesis at Princeton University, and continues to share her love of world dance cultures with students of all ages.
Ganesh Ramachandran’s photographs celebrate and cherish the joy of human connections. Building on the narrative power of photography, Ganesh’s work begins where soulful images start relating to each other to tell personal stories. His Guru-Shishya series of world-renowned dancers teaching in their studios was exhibited as a solo show in Kalaa Utsavam 2013, the Indian Festival of Arts in Singapore.
