Author / Artist Biography

David Calandro is a nurse and teacher who has always loved writing. The most important thing he has ever learned is that the best thing in life is a true friend. Calandro, who grew up in Missouri, now lives in New Jersey.

Ann Calandro grew up in New York City, lived in upstate New York and Missouri for a number of years, and currently lives in New Jersey. She is an artist, writer, editor, and proofreader. Her poetry and short stories have been published in literary journals and anthologies, and her artwork has been exhibited in juried exhibitions and included in two calendars. She has written and illustrated three children's books published by Shanti Arts: Never Stop Drawing (2015), Second Chances (2016), and Ruthie's Magic Sweater (2017).
